Bitcoin fork to replace Bitcoin mod
The mods are basically shooting themselves in the foot, no matter how they defend it.
What about bitcoin-core 0.8 which caused an unintentional hard fork, or spv miners which caused a hard fork last month?
What about other suggestions for block size increase, even from opponents of the approach of bitcoin-xt, like Pieter’s recent BIP?
In cases like this, I prefer experimenting to talking, therefore I disagree the block size increase in bitcoin-xt is a bad thing.
I don’t know if I’ll switch to it but now this option has been made easier.
